Happy Birthday to my lovely honey.

What a
surprise birthday party, where the surprised one was not the birthday girl. LOL.
It was a mistake from me that the “signal” sent to the girls wasn’t good enough.
I was supposed to give a miss call, but it was rather too short that no one
noticed the call. So, as me and my wife exited the lift, she noticed that why
were the lights on… that moment.. I was shit… bocor liao. So, she quickly open
the door, which caught all the girls in there with their jaw dropped… everyone
was stunned. There was a momentary pause for like, some good 30 seconds.. then
suddenly the “SURPRISE!” was shouted. Hahahahaha… I reckon it was the girls
that was caught by surprise, not the birthday girl.

Well, my
mistake… I admit it, for not giving a strong signal to them. But nevertheless,
it was worthwhile. Worth every energy and penny I put out for this small little

Surprise” party. It took me around
2 weeks plus to organize it with Sheri, over the phone. It wasn’t easy to organize
it, having my wife being so close to me all the time, and also Sheri being her
colleague… so we had to “curi-curi” sms or call each other. Hahahaha.

I took a
full day leave yesterday, but acted as if it was just another regular day to
work. So I sent my wife to work… and off I went in pursuit to prepare the
party. I headed straight to the party stuff shop at PJ, and only to find that
it was no longer there. Darn! So nvm, proceed with the groceries at Central
hypermarket at OUG… text Sheri for emergency help..

“Where else
can I find the party stuffs?!” Then she replied.. The Curve… Darn…nvm la.. I go
back Kinrara first…

Before I started
the gruesome preparation… I cooked myself a hearty meal.. make sure I’m full
and have all the energy I need to last me one full day…. Makan! Then took a cat
nap…. Woke up at 2pm… ok, time to hit the stores. Headed straight to The Curve…
went to Cold Storage.. darn… couldn’t find the snacks I wanted. So headed to LG
to Party World.. bought the Happy Birthday Banner, helium filled plastic
balloon… and etc.. I then went next door to Tesco to grab some snacks, and…. a WOK!
… yes.. a wok. Coz I realized that I don’t have a wok big enough to cook large
meals. Lol.

Reached
home at 4pm… gosh.. thank god the traffic was being kind to me. Reach home…
straight cooked the beehoon, and all the food stuffs. Called Domino’s pizza for
2 large pizzas and chicken wings… which, in return I got a free pizza voucher
cos they came late! Also put up the simple decors, and suddenly my wife called
saying she can leave early!

Oh no! Why
didn’t my informer tell me?! They were supposed to have meeting til late.

So no
choice.. at that moment Ah Mui called me to say that it is better that I drop
the keys at LeeYee’s mailbox and head straight to pick her.. ok loh.. I went
over to LeeYee’s place… said hi to Duke the dog, and drop the keys in her
mailbox so that Duke won’t bark at me. Hahaha..

This moment
onwards, the traffic was no longer kind to me…. Jam all the way from puchong..
even I detoured to NKVE, the traffic was horrendous there too! Bloody.. but as
soon as I got a clear path ahead.. the little kancil ran out of breath… nooo…
go faster baby.. faster faster… So I finally reached Phileo at .. 7.15pm. I had
to pull full hats of tricks and lies to my wife why I opted to bring her to
Puchong for dinner, instead of downtown KL… I can’t remember what I’ve told
her, but it was hell lots of lies… hahaha.

Cimg2056Where did
it all went from there? Go up to the first paragraph. Well, as long as everyone’s
happy.. it is all worthwhile.
:) Happy Birthday Honey…. And thanks
to all my friends whom help and I hope everyone enjoyed the simple meal I prepared.
