Tumi Belacan
This coverage is long overdue. Just happened to be browsing thru my photos, which this set of photos caught my attention.
This is one delicacy, my family recipe, which i’ve managed to master it. It is called tumi belacan (although i skip the belacan ingredient). Ok, let me recall what is needed. Serai, lots of onion, kunyit, red chili. So you "tumbuk" them til "lembik". lol.. pardon me for the BM.
Then u need coconut milk… squeeze em. And of course, prawn.. loads of em.. kasi cincang til itz really… erm. how sould i describe it? See below:
Now heat the wok, put oil, then the onion+kunyit+serai+chili …… stir fry it, then whack in the prawns. Stir it, then pour the coconut milk. Stir fry it til itz sticky.
Here it is.. all done. Eat it with cucumber and steam rice. .Yummy…
